Ecstatic Dance Yoga w/ Jess

Saturday, May 4th from 5:30PM—7PM

Celebrate the return of the birds, the bees, the flowers and longer days with an Ecstatic Yoga Practice facilitated by Jess!

Ecstatic dance is intuitive movement - there is no right or wrong way to wiggle and Jess will encourage you to quiet your mind and allow the music and your body to show you what to do.

  • Ecstatic Yoga = An Ecstatic Dance-Yoga Fusion Practice to lift your spirits and move stagnation in your body in celebration of the Spring Season. Throughout the winter, there is a tendency for our bodies to become a bit more sluggish. As spring rolls around, the energy gets wet and heavy and our bodies crave movement and cleansing practices to clear out the stagnation and prepare us for the fiery energies of summer!

In the beginning of this practice, Jess will facilitate a gentle warm up to help you relax and be in the present moment by connecting you to your body through movement and breath. In the middle portion of practice, you will enter an ecstatic dance portal to a well curated playlist to encourage light-heartedness, self love, and playful energy.

To close out practice, Jess will facilitate a soothing cool down with gentle movements and deep yin stretches to release any lasting tension in the body.

This practice welcomes everyone of any age and experience level

Hatha Yoga w/ Mary-Kate

Monday evenings 5:30PM—7PM
Wednesday evenings 5:30PM—7PM

Awaken your body and mind with this energizing practice. Showing up for yourself is an empowering way to channel your internal energy to prepare for the days and weeks ahead!

  • Each class will begin with a cleansing breath practice and a gentle warm up. For the core flow, you can expect to move slowly, with intention, through strong standing postures including sun salutations and a balancing pose. We will cool class down with a few relaxing, tension releasing postures and 5-8 minutes to integrate practice in the final resting posture, savasana.

This class is inclusive for all and modifications will be offered, as well as the option to opt out of any poses that do not suit your body's needs at the time. I encourage folks to wait to eat breakfast until after practice, if possible, to avoid the distraction of digestion and full belly while trying to connect with your breath.

Hatha Vinyasa w/ Heather

Thursday evenings 5:30PM—6:45PM

Hatha Vinyasa Yoga combines physical practice with inner contemplation. This dynamic class flows through postural sequences at a slow and steady, yet intentional pace using the breath as a guiding force. Attention to body alignment and where we place our mind in the moment weave together to provide a holistic, mind-body-spirit experience.

  • Heather enjoys offering a practice that allows both beginners and experienced students to moderate the level of intensity to honor the intelligent edge of their bodies. The Yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation and other tools of the practice teach us to engage in deep presence with what is and tap into the wisdom of the heart.
